Grass flipflops

Today sees the launch of the first (living) pair of grass flip flops – courtesy of client Krispy Kreme. Each shoe has over 5,000 blades of grass and, if regularly tended to and watered, can last for over four months. Mischief is giving them away to stressed out commuters so they can relax in their own mini-park.

Sunny Day by Stockholm-based lighting artist Aleksandra Stratimirovic is an installation made of over four thousand glass medical phials filled with coloured liquids, which combine to produce an image of a girl beside a lake.

Lotus marketing stunt

Apart from the spectacle Wimbledon, there were also faceless people sitting in the audience. At first, everyone thought the condition may have been caused by too much bubbly, but turns out it was a viral marketing stunt about the anonymity of humankind in the information age, for Lotus. The stunt is linked to a website called Facelesspeople.com which has a countdown to the unveiling of their new car.
