Reduced packaging
Tofu packed into balloons, a great example for reduced packaging. Its elastic material is extensively stretched, and when pierced with a toothpick, the balloon bursts and only a tiny bit remains.

Beautiful new website.

Spoor paints images of transition and growth; fluid narratives that chronicle a world rich with the mystery, joy, pain, and delicate balance of personal and spiritual evolution.
Invisible streetlight
Invisible Streetlight emits light at nighttime by saving energy from sunlight during the day. The most innovative element of Invisible Streetlight is that it does not require a support because the flexible body in the shape of tree branch is directly installed to the trees lining a street.
Wellington zoo
This is the first time (as far as I know) that augmented reality has an advertising purpose. Here it’s used for the Wellingon Zoo and I can’t wait to use it myself!
Marjan Bantjes
Beautiful laser cut poster.
Color On
Haha, this reminds me of one of Homer Simpson’s inventions.
Karakiri
… is a creature of comfort.
Clock by Thorunn Arnadottir
Each bead in the necklace is 5 minutes. The whole necklace is one solar day. The orange and red ones represent the whole hours. As the wheel turns, one bead falls off and drops down the string every 5 minutes. To tell the time you count the beads from either the silver bead (midnight) or the golden bead (noon) to the last bead that fell off the wheel.
Superbrothers
Lovely pixel-illustrations (in all their simplicity).
Shock proof vases
Shock Proof is a collection of existing vases upon which Tjep. has applied the ‘Do Break’ (by Droog Design) principle. When broken the vases don’t fall apart and remain watertight because of a special rubber coating that is applied to the inside. The cracks form a new superimposed decorative pattern, witness to dramatic events to which the vases may be subjected: anything from a lovers quarrel to earthquakes.
Roadsworth
Very cool street art by this Canadian artist.
